The Thing I Like About Myself?

As a person that is not so confident and satisfied about myself, the first reaction to answer this question is “nothing”. However, I know that is not true because nice things can always be found in everybody’s personality.
So back to the question, my answer is, I like my passion of reading books and thinking. This doesn’t mean that I keep thinking what Plato, Freud and Einstein thought and despise “meaningless” random chat; on the contrary, this character trait of mine lets me appreciate the joy of daily life.
To explain this empty claim of this “passion”, I’d like to say I have loved reading since I was a kid and was known for reading every second and everywhere. As I grow up, mobile phones and computers seem take over a little bit, but lying on the bed or sitting on the sofa and reading books  without distractions is still the best thing in a day.
I love this trait about me because reading shows me the charm of knowledge. To illustrate, I want to share my experience with the Rosetta Stone. I read about the Rosetta Stone in the most widely-considered boring history textbooks, and it is basically a stone in ancient Egypt with three languages on it. The stone helped archaeologists to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs. The stone was just be an ordinary history term in my memory until I visited a museum in Houston which displayed the Rosetta Stone. Although that was only a replica, the whole exhibit made more sense to me. All the facts I learned connected with things I was seeing. I talked about them with my friend. She said, “That sounds interesting. The only history I can remember all happened in this century.” I felt bad about her and the previous me for not feeling the same excitement I was enjoying.
So, here this the thing I like about myself. I hope I will keep reading for the rest of my life.
